Becoming a Staxton Singer!
JOINING our choir couldn't be simpler! We ask you to attend our Monday night rehearsals for at least 4 weeks. Please also try to come to any concerts we do in that time. This is so that you can decide whether you like us or not and we can decide whether you'll make it as a chorister. During that period you will be responsible for any music lent to you. At the end of the 4 weeks you may be asked to stay after a rehearsal for a sing through one of the songs with the Musical Director. He will then tell you if your application has been successful or not. The choir subscription is currently £20 per term (£60 per year). You will be asked to wear the correct uniform for concerts and to purchase a choir scarf or bow tie.
